Our House – Nostalgia Central

1 9 9 3 – 2 0 0 1 (Australia)
400+ x 30 minute episodes

This Australian lifestyle and home renovation television series aired on the Nine Network from 1993 until 2001.

The show was presented by musician and former Skyhooks vocalist Graeme “Shirley” Strachan, Reg Livermore (with his segment “Reg’s Kitchen”), Rebecca Gilling, Tracey Dale, Suzie Wilks, Tara Dennis and Peter Harris.

The presenters visited Australian properties, demonstrated affordable home styling makeovers, and provided step-by-step DIY tips for everyday homeowners.

The series came to an abrupt and tragic end following the death of its primary host, Shirley Strachan, who died during his third solo helicopter flight north-west of Brisbane on 29 August 2001. The final episode of Our House, a Christmas-themed special, paid tribute to Strachan.
