This short-lived children’s science fiction series aired on ITV between 3 January and 6 March 1996.

Brilliant scientist, Dr Ruby Munro (Robin McCaffrey) runs the Department for Experimentation into Linked Thought Activity (hence the “D.E.L.T.A.” wave of the series title).

She takes guardianship of two children – Julia Stone (Ania Sowinski) and Ed Curtis (Jason Stracey) – who possess extraordinarily powerful and acute psychic abilities.

Together, the trio investigates paranormal mysteries and strange encounters across five two-part story arcs.

The series attracted many high-profile actors in guest roles, including beloved actress Una Stubbs, future Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi, Drop The Dead Donkey actress Victoria Wicks, and EastEnders legend Leslie Grantham.
