Cake (Christa B. Allen) is a pretty teenager who is a whiz at fashion (“It’s a piece of cake”) and hosts her own public-access cable TV series, Cake TV, which is broadcast from the garage of her parents’ home.

She is assisted by her fashion-crazy best friend, Miracle Ross (Anna Maria Perez de Tagle), and bubbly pre-teen Amy (Emily Everhard), who performs the show’s announcing chores.

Their friend, Benjamin (Keegan McFadden), is the show’s cameraman and director.

Cake is inspired by her (unseen) Grandma Crystal, who used to design costumes and serve as a roadie for famous rock stars.

Overtly designed to appeal to young girls and instil creativity in young children, a major portion of each episode is devoted to Cake – aka “The How To Hottie” – demonstrating various do-it-yourself craft projects (such as jazzing up an old purse, creating a custom CD case, or revitalising old plush toys) for the viewers.
