Ben Stiller and his friends Andy Dick, Janeane Garofalo, and Bob Odenkirk spoofed TV, movies, commercials, rock musicians, and celebrities in this sketch comedy show.

Standouts included Skank the sock puppet, an Amish dating game show (parody of Studs), Melrose Heights 90210240, Garofalo’s impressions of Sinead O’Connor and Shannen Doherty, a spoof of The Monkees (based in Seattle and called The Grungies), and Stiller’s impressions of Bruce Springsteen, Tom Cruise, Ron Perlman and Bruce Willis,

Stiller also produced, directed and co-wrote the sharp series that quickly faded, but later won an Emmy for writing.

Guest stars on the show included Gary Shandling, Adam West, Sarah Jessica Parker, Rob Morrow (from Northern Exposure), Tom and Roseanne Arnold, and Danny Bonaduce, Dave Madden and David Cassidy (from The Partridge Family).
