The two stupid dogs of this Hanna-Barbera cartoon series were Big Dog (an easy-going, laid-back sheepdog) and Little Dog (an easily excited dachshund).

The canines were outcasts and had a difficult time fitting into society. Stories placed them in various situations – from stowaways on a space shuttle to characters in fairy tales – to illustrate how their stupidity not only got them in trouble, but out of it as well.

The delightfully uncluttered animation style, vibrant colours and mobile jazz score made the episodes a joy to watch.

The show also featured new episodes of Secret Squirrel.
